After his class change, Yu Kai’s mind was flooded with new knowledge about archer skills. However, to unleash 100% of his combat power, he still needed extensive practice and experience.

The two of them returned to the wooden wall, joining forces to attack the targets outside. At first, Yu Kai struggled to hit his marks, but after firing over a dozen arrows, his accuracy gradually improved to 70%. While this was still far from Cheng Yang’s perfect 100% accuracy, it was a remarkable improvement nonetheless.

This progress was partly due to Cheng Yang’s teachings – techniques that countless lives had been sacrificed to perfect in the apocalypse. But more importantly, Yu Kai was a natural-born archer. His innate grasp of archery left Cheng Yang in awe.

Three minutes later, the territory’s spiritual energy reached 10 points again. Cheng Yang called Niu Bing down. Based on his previous life’s knowledge, Niu Bing was suited to become a Summoner. Although early-stage summoned creatures could only engage in close combat, they were fearless and could be thrown outside the walls to battle the demonic beasts. If they died, they could simply be summoned again.

Cheng Yang had another reason for prioritizing Niu Bing’s class change – he wanted to test his theory. In his previous life, Niu Bing hadn’t possessed particularly strong talents.

Seconds later, Niu Bing held an ordinary wooden staff, longer than Cheng Yang’s, marking his new identity as a Summoner.

Cheng Yang’s eyes shone with barely contained excitement as he read Niu Bing’s stats. His theory seemed confirmed – the earlier one changed classes, the higher the chance of obtaining exceptional talents.

With Niu Bing’s summoning abilities, the battles became more dynamic. While Cheng Yang and Yu Kai had been conducting one-sided slaughter from the safety of the walls, Niu Bing’s shadow wolves engaged the demonic beasts in brutal close combat outside. Though the wolves were quickly overwhelmed by multiple beasts, Niu Bing simply summoned new ones as soon as his cooldown ended.

Soon, Cheng Yang accumulated another 10 points of spiritual energy and brought Liu Hao for his class change. Cheng Yang wasn’t one to share opportunities lightly – since early class changes offered better talents, he naturally prioritized his closest allies.

Liu Hao’s stats after his class change didn’t surprise Cheng Yang – they were identical to his previous life’s.

Liu Hao’s strength lay in his speed, and his talents perfectly suited him for the Assassin advanced class. Despite his portly frame, his speed attributes would make him faster than anyone once developed.

Cheng Yang felt like he was dreaming. In his previous life, there had been fewer than 500 known S-rank talents worldwide. Yet here he was, surrounded by three S-rank potential warriors. The advantages of S-rank talents weren’t just in combat – they allowed for faster leveling through more efficient hunting, creating a snowball effect that left ordinary warriors far behind.

As the battles continued, Cheng Yang accumulated 11 points and brought Pang Shan, the girl Niu Bing had brought, for her class change. Using a special method at the altar, Cheng Yang tested her aptitude. To his surprise, an angelic symbol appeared on her forehead – indicating a rare Priest class.

Since Falling Phoenix Village couldn’t currently support Priest class changes, Cheng Yang decided to postpone Pang Shan’s transformation. He sent her back to the walls and called for Li Wanshan.

The middle-aged man arrived promptly, showing no resentment about being last in line for class changes. “Young man,” he said eagerly, “what class do you think suits me?”

Cheng Yang replied, “We’ll need to test that, Old Li. But remember, if you choose to change classes here, you’ll need to follow my rules.”

Li Wanshan nodded earnestly, “Don’t worry, young man. I’m not one to forget kindness. As long as it doesn’t go against morality, I’ll follow your lead. Just call me Old Li from now on.”

After testing Li Wanshan’s aptitude, a sword symbol appeared on his forehead – marking him as a Warrior candidate.
